Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Converge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Converge provides a tool for converting PDF bank statements and credit card statements into structured CSV data. The Service includes uploading PDF documents, automatic extraction of transaction data, and exporting that data in CSV format. The Service also includes product analytics, error monitoring, and transactional email communications as described in our Privacy Policy.
Account Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Upload documents that you do not have the right to access
- Attempt to extract data from documents belonging to others without authorization
- Use the Service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other illegal activities
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service beyond normal usage
- Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious content
Data and Content
You retain ownership of any documents you upload and the data extracted from them. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your uploaded documents solely for the purpose of providing the extraction service. We do not claim ownership of your data.
Analytics and Communications
By using the Service, you acknowledge that we use third-party tools for analytics (PostHog), error monitoring (Sentry), and transactional email (Resend). These tools collect data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of non-essential analytics through your browser cookie settings, though core error monitoring cannot be individually disabled as it is necessary for the operation of the Service.
Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for high accuracy in transaction extraction, the Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. Extracted data may contain errors due to variations in PDF formatting, unusual statement layouts, or other factors. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data for accuracy before relying on it for financial decisions, accounting, or tax purposes.
Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Converge and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time.
